Baldwin Signs Distribution Agreement with Hildebrand Systeme

Baldwin Technology Company, Inc. (ASE:BLD) announced that, in a move that will enhance its position in the automatic cleaning systems market, Baldwin's wholly owned Swedish subsidiary, Baldwin Jimek AB, signed a distribution agreement with German manufacturer, Hildebrand Systeme, effective as of March 15, 2005. The agreement gives Baldwin the exclusive global marketing rights for the worldwide web offset market for the Jetstream and Jetvac web cleaning systems made by Hildebrand Systeme.
"The agreement with Hildebrand Systeme, a leader in the field of high performance web cleaning, will enhance our competitive position within the worldwide automatic cleaning systems market, estimated at $250 million per annum," said Baldwin vice president Karl Puehringer. "Baldwin operates on a truly global basis and we continually examine technologies and solutions that can expand the boundaries and size of the web offset cleaning systems market and our share of it. Baldwin and Hildebrand Systeme each bring strong competencies to this partnership and we are committed to working closely together to ensure both companies achieve their stated objectives."
