The folding aid with the softening systems, including UV particles

This is a self-cleaning system because the special folding aid concentrate, developed by Baldwin, contains cleaning substances. Inhibitors in the concentrate prevent corrosion in the folder whilst other additives prevent the formation of algae and foaming. The special UV fold softening concentrate enables the softened line to become clearly visible on the printed copies when they are held under the special UV lamp. The valves for switching the fluid supply on and off are located directly in the applicator heads on the clamping crossbars.
