With the new ProTect M180-M196 web severers Baldwin offer reliable, tried and tested safety systems for commercial and newspaper rotary offset presses. When the sensors report a web break in the press line, the pneumatically operated ProTect systems immediately sever the web. Depending on the model concerned, the incoming web is moreover clamped or guided out of the production process.
